Safe for your brand.
Respectful of your readers.

Keystone gives you fast, precise control over where ads run, and keeps Babel's own measurement free of cookies and personal identifiers.

Respond to a policy flag in seconds, not a deploy cycle

When a page needs to stop showing ads, it shouldn't take a release.

🚫

Blocked pages

Block up to 10,000 exact URLs per site. Paste them, or upload a Google Ad Manager Policy center export as-is. It applies within seconds, and no ad request fires on those pages.

🔗

Linked domains

The tag only runs on the domains you own, so a copied tag does nothing anywhere else.

🧭

Page rules

Keep formats off whole sections with URL rules: only on these pages, or never on them.

🖼️

Policy-safe In-Image

In-Image only requests ad sizes that fit the image natively. Nothing is scaled, and selector rules keep ads off galleries and widgets.

🛡️

Error isolation

Every entry point is guarded, so the tag can't break the page it runs on.

🏅

Google Certified Publishing Partner

We work within Google's publisher policies every day, as one of a select group of certified partners.

One consent decision for every format

Consent is handled once, the same way, across the whole tag.

✋

TCF v2, shared

All formats read one shared TCF v2 decision, with GPP for Prebid. Without consent, ads fall back to non-personalized.

⏱️

Never stuck on a CMP

A 3-second safety timeout, and support for CMPs that answer in non-standard ways, mean your page never hangs waiting for consent.

Babel's measurement is cookieless

Our own reporting sets no cookies and stores no IP address or user ID.

🎲

Random per-pageview IDs

Each pageview gets a random ID, and a per-tab session counter lives in sessionStorage. It disappears when the tab closes.

🌍

Country without storing IPs

Country comes from a header added by Google's edge network. We never store the IP address.

Full disclosure

Some features you can switch on do store data. Here's exactly what:

  • When header bidding runs, Prebid uses standard user-ID modules: SharedID, which sets a first-party cookie, and Criteo ID.
  • If you track Ad Wall sign-ups, a click ID is kept in localStorage on your own domain for 30 days.
